The eighth of April was an exciting day for all the HelpOut members. It was our first event, a Housie game.
A few days before the event, we went to all the houses to sell tickets to the residents. We also sold tickets on location, and we managed to make enough by just selling tickets!
The event was about 3 hours, including dinner. We had different food stalls, like Crave Pizza, Ayub rolls, and one of the HelpOut members had a bake stall, with various cookies and cupcakes.
We had only planned for one round of Housie, however it was such an overwhelming success that we immediately decided to have another one.
Overall, this was a very thriving event and we raised ₹ 75,000!
This money went to buying books, uniforms, stationery, and umbrellas for the children in a small school in Ladiwali, Karjat. We hope to help this school even more and improve the students lives one step at a time.
