On Sunday 18th November, we had our 2nd housie event in our community but this time we had young children participate too.
The excitement began a few days before the event. The time to execute the event was very short as we were yet returning from our Diwali vacations, hence the excitement was even more.
We managed to sell enough tickets before the event and had a bumper sale on location.This time we had included a picture housie for children.
Our event was 3 hours long including dinner. We had food stalls, like Belgium Waffle, Crave Pizza, Mumbai chaat and Dosa. We also had a bake stall with various cookies and cupcakes baked by one of our HelpOut members.
We had a certain target to achieve as we plan to have a medical camp for our villagers with the proceeds of this event and our football Independence Cup.
We are happy to say that we have achieved our set target and we look forward to our upcoming medical camp.
